Humboldt Bay Initiative Meeting: Coastal LiDAR
Thursday, May 17, 1:00 pm, HSU Aquatic Center Room 211/212, 921 Waterfront Drive, Eureka. The next Humboldt Bay Initiative Meeting will be on the topic of the new coastal LiDAR data use and applications. A GIS/LiDAR panel will present information before opening it up for Q&A and discussion.

Friday, May 11 - Humboldt Area Foundation (Arcata/Eureka) - 9:30 a.m. Guest Speaker Susan Schlosser (California Sea Grant) will discuss the Humboldt Bay Initiative's strategy to identify target species and ecosystems to serve as viability indicators to monitor Humboldt Bay ecosystems.
Friday, June 15 - Lake Earl Information Center (Crescent City) 9:00 a.m. This meeting will focus on Del Norte partner activities, management issues and concerns. The meeting will be followed by a sack lunch and a 1-3 hr field-trip around Lake Earl Wildlife Area.
West Coast Regional Data Framework Workshop proceedings available online
In December 2011, the West Coast Governors Alliance on Ocean Health convened the "West Coast Regional Data Framework" workshop to develop a shared vision for increasing discovery and access to ocean and coastal data in Washington, Oregon and California.
