Restoring degraded or converted wetlands reestablishes ecological relationships that more closely represent the site’s original conditions. PCJV partners frequently collaborate to restore former agricultural land, tidal marshes, and riparian communities. Examples of restoration projects include:

  • reestablishing riverine channels and riparian habitat
  • planting native vegetation
  • restoring tidal flow to diked agricultural areas
