Washington Natural Heritage Program seeks help identifying Natural Heritage wetlands
The program seeks help identifying the location of wetlands that are currently not categorized as 'Natural Heritage Wetlands' in the Washington Natural Heritage Program data base AND meet additional criteria.

Participate in setting recovery targets for Puget Sound
This year the Puget Sound Partnership will set recovery targets for “ecosystem components” and "reducing pressure on the ecosystem." The Partnership will be holding workshops on draft targets in April and May. Visit the website for information as it becomes available.

Lower Columbia River Estuary Partnership Habitat Restoration Project Funding Available
Deadline for first round funding: April 22, 2011
The Estuary Partnership is requesting proposals for habitat restoration projects in the lower Columbia River and estuary. Projects that address salmonid restoration and protection are the priority of this request.

Washington PCJV partners to meet April 29 in Grays Harbor
The Grays Harbor Shorebird Festival will provide a focus for the next gathering of Washington PCJV partners on April 29. The meeting will feature planning for the PCJV coastal implementation plan; a discussion of the state wildlife action plan (WDFW conservation Initiative); and Dr. Robert Clay, representing Birdlife International in Ecuador, speaking on shorebirds.
